How was ice cream invented anyway?! Ice cream origins as far as the second century B.C., but there isn’t a specific date. And we can all eat it on waffles and plop it on soda/champagne! I love how you can eat ice cream in a bowl, a glass, a plate. And they’re good for you and if you have a friend and/or lover, that friend. What could be better than celebrate it with some champagne AND ice cream?! If the ice cream arrives to the given shipping address within the 'next day delivery' window, we are not responsible for DPD's delivery. Please note, once the delivery have left the farm we do not have any control over them. As soon as you are home, check your order and pop your flavours in the freezer. You can track the progress of your parcels using the tracking link provided on the day of delivery where y ou will be given a time slot for delivery. The drivers are instructed delivery has to be made on first attempt. This means you don’t need to be in accept your delivery, if you are not in they will leave the ice cream in a safe place. Our National Home Delivery is delivered with DPD in a box containing dry ice. They are able to leave it in a safe place, however please note your delivery is not insulated and so will not survive for long outside of a freezer. Our Local Home Delivery is delivered by our Marshfield Farm drivers on your allocated day, which you select when ordering. We have two Home Delivery services depending on your postcode and how far away you are from the farm. Ice Cream Tubs : The plastic lids and cardboard bases are widely accepted in local curb side collections.Dry Ice Barrier Bag : Once the dry ice has evaporated, separate the bubble from the paper envelope, and recycle as normal.We are accepting clean liners back to the farm for re-using (please see below FAQ) Cotton is biodegradable and 100% reusable. These are offcuts that would previously h ave been going into landfill – giving garments a longer life. Liners : We use sta t e of the art recycled off cuts from the cotton industry.Cardboard Box : This is 100% recyclable and can be recycled at home in your card recycling.All that will be left is the wrapper it came in which can be dispose of in normal waste. Once you have unboxed your delivery, leave the dry ice in a well-ventilated space (away from little hands!) for 24 hours or until it is fully evaporated. Please do not open the contents and touch it directly with your hands as it can cause freezer burn. ![]() Our National Home Delivery uses dry ice in insulated boxes to keep the ice cream frozen.ĭry ice is safe and will be sent in a sealed, labelled envelope. National Home Delivery orders will be delivered on next day delivery on most occasions.
